Annie Decker's Property Exercises
Attached are the materials: 1) the title search project; 2) a finders exercise (based on Pierson v. Post, etc., but using Boston parking wars as the base--I feel like I got this idea from somewhere, but cannot remember!); 3) a squatting exercise based on NY adverse possession law; 4) a graphic representing Property that they fill in; and 5) the student stories post-Hurricane Sandy that students in class assisted them with....
I really found the PowerPoint "graphic" attached here to be helpful, Students seemed to get a lot out of my asking them to visualize property (across the range of criminal/civil law, federal/state/local law, torts/contracts/property), and to put their cases on the attached chart as they went along in the case.
